STRAIN is a 45-minute feature film exploring the many strains of mountain bikers — racers, freeriders, builders, weekend warriors, sponsors, senders, and people who somehow do all of the above and still make it to work on Monday.

It also dives into the strain we overcome through riding: adversity, pressure, injury, burnout, expectation, purpose, and finding your place in the community.

It’s raw.

To run a killer event, you’ll need to:

1. Secure a proper venue

Independent theatre, event hall, bar with a good screen — whatever fits your vibe.

If it can play a film cleanly, it works.

2. Make sure the A/V slaps

Test your gear.

Then test it again.

Unless, of course, you enjoy 200+ bikers staring at a frozen frame while you panic-shuffle HDMI cables like you're defusing a bomb.

3. Run your own ticket sales

Charge what you want. Build a budget. Make it a banger.

4. Promote the event like you're trying to fill a bike park

Use the toolkit, call your shop buddies, tag your trail society, beg your mom to share the event on Facebook — whatever it takes.

5. Respect the simple rules

No unauthorized recording.

No pairing STRAIN with competing brands.
